H = SP + LC + IA
Where (H) = happiness
(SP) = set point (or range if you prefer) of happiness that an individual receives from genetics
(LC) = Life circumstances i.e. things that are not under the individual’s direct control
(IA) = Intentional Activities i.e. activities that an individual chooses to do to increase their happiness. Must be done continually to have lasting effects.

Theory of mind is trippy- we can decipher that others have thoughts and feelings separate than our own, AND this creates the ability to have and show empathy and sympathy. Being human is pretty fucking cool.
